Family of 6 Meal plan – $182/week

"It's the most wonderful time of the year!!!" Another year has come and gone so quickly. It's amazing how quickly time does go. I look back to the year and remember how I started it off going grocery shopping at $150/week for our family of 6 here in Canada!!! I started in November 2018 and ended it all around March 2019. Why did I stop trying to grocery shop at that budget? Simple, it wasn't quite right for our family. For instance, items such as meat were expensive and also there was food inflation that hit over the year. One...

$150/Week Food Budget Canada (March)

Welcome back! It's that time again where I share my weekly meal plans for the month. Back in December & January, I was using many different cookbooks for inspiration or ideas, but this past month I reverted back to my old ways of using Pinterest. You got to do what you go to. March was super busy for us as it was the end of the hockey season for my 2 older boys which meant year-end weekend games and tournaments. I was inspired to talk about it versus write about it as talking allows me to go more rogue and speak freely, plus it's fun to mix it up. Go and check out the quick video to see what I have to say on how to save on groceries, even as...

READY-MADE MEAL PLANS

Now if you are like me and do not have the time to plan out all your meals, research different recipes to feed to your family.  Have a look at the following different programs below. Most programs offer a trial period which is even better. You do not have to commit unless the plans work for your family. This is a huge time saver for me and removes the need to make decisions. I do not need to decide what we will eat as a family every single night. Of course, some meals may not work for us, but at...
