As a mom of 4 kids, finding the time to make meals, let alone multiple meals ahead of time can be challenging. I am always searching Pinterest to find easy quick freezer meals that my kids will enjoy.
Although my kids love cereals, toasts or bagels for breakfast, changing the routine can make it exciting for the kids, therefore, I decided to make a few breakfast freezer meals.
Enjoy these quick recipes. I made them all within an hour, but I was multitasking. As my waffle was cooking in the iron, I was making my breakfast sandwiches. I didn’t do one recipe at a time as I had to be as efficient as possible. I didn’t know how much time my little baby would give me.
Here are my tested recipes.
The oatmeal cups were very easy to make. Bring the mixture to boil, let sit for a couple of minutes. Finally, separate into muffin tins, add fruit topping and freeze. These popped out of the tins very easily. I wrapped them up individually and froze them. They warm up quickly in the microwave.
If you love French Toast, this is a quick twist to it. Cut the bread slices in 3 and cook them up. Flash freeze them in the freezer for a couple of hours and they are ready to be wrapped up.
Simply make your regular waffle recipe or use Bisquick box. Lay each waffle separately on a cookie sheet to flash freeze for a couple of hours. Wrap them up and they are ready for some syrup.
Don’t have a Tim Hortons nearby to grab one of their english muffin breakfast sandwiches? Make them ahead of time and grab one when you need. I wrapped them up all individually to freeze.
